REPORT: Lebanese leaders hold deliberations, contacts in preparation for next parliamentary session

Lebanon’s Parliament failed on Wednesday to elect a new president in the first round of voting with none of the candidates receiving the two-thirds majority needed to win.

A new parliamentary session was set for April 30 in a bid to elect a new president.

This report will shed light on the deliberations and contacts that Lebanese leaders are holding in preparation for the next session.
