REPORT: Couple burnt to death in Bekaa tent fire in suspected honor killing

A man identified as Naef Abou Eid and his wife Khadija Nassif were killed on Monday when a fire swept their tent in the Bekaa town of al-Dalhamiyeh.

Abou Eid's daughter said her parents were killed by her uncles who set their tent alight after her sister eloped.

She described the crime as an 'honor killing'.
