REPORT: Bekaa residents downplay threat of Ahrar al-Sunna Brigade

Bekaa residents downplayed on Thursday the threat that was launched by the Baalbek-based Ahrar al-Sunna Brigade.

On Wednesday, the Ahrar al-Sunna Brigade said via twitter that a jihadi group has been tasked with cleansing the Bekaa region in particular and Lebanon in general from “churches.”

In Majdal Anjar, a predominantly Sunni town in Central Bekaa, the residents did not react to such threats.
