REPORT: Lebanese army defuses explosive device in Arsal
The Lebanese army defused on Friday an explosive device weighing around 50 kilograms in the Bekaa border town of Arsal.

The bomb was discovered as an army force was conducting patrols in the Arsal area of Ras al-Sarj, according to a statement issued by the army.

The 50KG explosive device was placed “inside a garbage bin,” the army added.

Arsal, located on the northeastern border region of Lebanon is host to many of Syria's refugees and is also feared to have become a safe haven for many of the fighters who regularly enter and exit the town to fight inside Syrian territories.
