REPORT: Islamic State approaches Egypt’s borders as it claims Libyan city

The Islamic Youth Shura Council has declared it has claimed control over territory in the city of Derna as part of the ‘caliphate’ that the Islamic State is seeking to extend over the Muslim world.

It is worth noting that the city of Derna is 200 kilometers away from the Egyptian borders.
