The indictment stated that the two Saudis caught in the wake of attacks on the Duroy hotel confessed to belonging to the Islamic State, and said that they were planning to attack the popular As-Saha restaurant in Beirut's southern suburbs.
The indictment also stated that the French would-be suicide bomber caught at the Napoleon hotel was planning to carry out a suicide attack against "Shiites for their military involvement in Syria."
A Saudi suicide bomber blew himself up at the Duroy Hotel in Beirut's Raouche region on Wednesday the 25th of June as General Security forces were conducting a raid, wounding several people, including members from the General Security.
His accomplice, an another Saudi national survived the attack and was arrested by the security apparatuses.
Also last June, a joint force from the Internal Security Forces' Information bureau and the General Security arrested several persons after raids were carried out in several hotels in Hamra within a framework of security measures taken in order to thwart terrorist attacks.
Twelve suspects were arrested in the Napoleon Hotel and five were detained in other hotels including Casa D'or Hotel.
