REPORT: Berri adjourns presidential election session until December 10
Speaker Nabih Berri adjourned on Wednesday Lebanon's presidential elections until December 10 after MPs failed for a 15th time to elect a new president amid the ongoing political deadlock.

As in the previous sessions, a lack of quorum due to a boycott by March 8 lawmakers forced the postponement of the election session.

Quorum was met only during the first legislative session in April, but no presidential candidate received enough votes to win.

Lebanon has been without a president since May when the term of Michel Sleiman ended.
