REPORT: Change and Reform Bloc says real partnership only solution for Lebanon’s deadlock
Education Minister Elias Bou Saab stated on Tuesday that Lebanese factions should realize that only real partnership will lead to a solution for the current situation in Lebanon, stressing that a strong president must enjoy strong representation among Christians.

Following the Change and Reform Bloc’s weekly meeting, Minister Bou Saab stressed that the country is no longer capable of solely bearing the repercussions of the Syrian influx, adding that the international community is not supporting Lebanese communities.

On another note, he stated that the issue of the series of ranks and salaries has not yet been resolved, adding that the Change and Reform Bloc will press on with its demands pertaining to the ratification of the pay scale.

In the same regard, MP Ibrahim Kanaan noted that the joint parliamentary committee should convene to tackle the issues related to the military sector in a bid to resolve the dispute related to the wage hike dossier.
