The riots that erupted Friday night at Roumieh prison were not the first of their kind, but another episode of a long-standing series.
However, the new event was that they took place in the facility’s bloc ‘D’, to which the Islamist inmates were transferred after what was known as “the legend of the bloc B,” when those inmates had enormous privileges and were “the rulers.”
