REPORT: Speaker Berri hails the implementation of security plan in Beirut’s suburbs of Dahiyeh

Speaker Nabih Berri hailed on Wednesday the implementation of the security plan in Beirut and its southern suburbs of Dahiyeh.

“We laud the plan and role of the security apparatuses in cracking down on terrorist cells,” he noted.

Berri’s remarks were made during his weekly meeting with MPs in Ain el-Tineh.

On another note, Berri called for “fortifying Lebanon's internal scene” via dialogue in order to address the impact of regional consequences.

On Tuesday, the Lebanese Armed Forces and Internal Security Forces started implementing a security plan in Beirut and its southern suburbs to arrest fugitives.
