REPORT: Hezbollah Commander says Resistance will displace Israeli settlers if Jewish state attacks

The Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah stated on Friday that all Israelis have admitted that they were not victorious in the July 2006 war, pointing out that “the enemy considered that its internal front had been targeted.”

In a speech delivered on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Imam Al-Mahdi Scouts, Hezbollah’s Nasrallah noted that Israeli soldiers have been conducting maneuvers on the internal front of the Lebanese border, stressing that “these military exercises are part of the enemy’s psychological warfare against us.”

Nasrallah added that Israeli officials are claiming that they will displace Lebanese citizens should any new war erupt, stressing that this is the aggressive and terrorist nature of the Jewish state.

“The situation is no longer the same; the Resistance is capable of targeting Israel successfully,” Nasrallah said.

In this regard, Nasrallah noted that Israel can no longer displace Lebanese citizens and destroy their homes in order to maintain the security of its people, stressing that “what is coming next is more glorious than 2006.”

“To the Israelis who are threatening to displace 1.5 million Lebanese citizens, I say that the Resistance will displace millions of Israelis.”

He also noted that all Israeli threats are the result of officials’ fear of the capabilities of the Resistance.

Regarding the situation in Arsal, Nasrallah stressed that Hezbollah has been clear since the beginning of the clashes that its fighter are not willing to enter into the northeastern border town, pointing out that Hezbollah differentiates between the town of Arsal and its mountainous region.

“We have long been saying that protecting the border town of Arsal and maintaining the situation there are tasks that fall upon the shoulders of Lebanese authorities.”

As for the Qalamoun battle, Sayyed Nasrallah stated that direct attacks by terrorist groups on Syrian army positions and on Resistance fighters expedited said battle, pointing out that the sacrifices of Hezbollah fighters are all aimed at protecting the Lebanese border towns and liberating them from the presence of terrorist groups.

Expressing his gratitude to the clans and families of Baalbek, El-Hermel, Hezbollah’s Nasrallah stressed that Lebanon is in dire need for unity among its citizens, adding that the battle currently taking place in the mountain region of Arsal mountains will not end before the desired goals are achieved.

“We do not have a specific timeframe for this battle. Our main goal is to reach the target with the least damage possible,” he said.

On a separate note, Nasrallah said: “It is meaningless that certain powers are claiming that Syrian President Bashar Assad is behind the emergence of the Islamic State,” stressing that “it is even senseless to accuse Hezbollah of being behind this group.”

He also stated that all powers are aware that the Islamic State is a branch of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, adding that world powers recognize the leaders of this group and those who are funding it.

“Everybody know that the US, Saudi, and Pakistani intelligence are behind the emergence of Al-Qaeda,” stressing that the conflict between Al-Qaeda and the IS is a dispute over leadership.

Nasrallah expressed his hope that Lebanese citizens unify their stance over the IS, which is a known enemy, stressing that Iran, Syria, and the Resistance are fighting it.

As for the situation in Yemen, Nasrallah condemned the US-Saudi interference in the country, stressing that committing crimes and killing are signs of weakness.
