Kataeb Party leader Sami Gemayel met Tuesday with Marada Movement chief Sleiman Frangieh along with former Minister Youssef Saade in Bekfaya.
Frangieh voiced his respect for the kataeb party’s stance in not attending the legislative session.
“It is not worth creating further differences for not including the electoral law in the legislative session’s agenda,” he added.
This as he pointed out that the Marada Movement will vote for any electoral law that does justice to the Christians.
Concerning the financial file, Frangieh believes that some financial laws should be passed before the end of the year.
For his part, MP Sami Gemayel reiterated the need to coordinate between the parties in such circumstances, emphasizing that only the election of a new president would solve Lebanon’s outstanding issues.
