REPORT: March14’s statement and their plan for the upcoming stage

“Toppling Mikati’s cabinet is the only way to save Lebanon” is the message that March14 forces wanted to deliver by their statement.

March14 forces drew attention in their statement that all forms of democratic protests are allowed and stressed that they will be boycotting the current government.

As for the participation in the parliamentary work, they mentioned that this issue is related to the security situation in the country. I

n this regard, March14 forces set a plan to form a new government based on the results of the national dialogue chaired by the Lebanese President; the Baabda declaration.

For his turn, Deputy Edie Abi Lama asked President Michel Sleiman to take a decision to topple the government.

The forces stressed that calm will not prevail before toppling the government.
