The Lebanese pound continues its unprecedented freefall, with the national currency hitting a new low by the day.
After the exchange rate had reached 24.000 LBP to the dollar on Thursday, it spiked to more than 28.000 LBP to the greenback on Tuesday, in only 5 days, which has led many stores to close their doors.
