Closer look at Souq Waqif in Qatar-[REPORT]

The Souq Waqif in Qatar has existed for more than 250 years, combining several civilizations and carrying with it its commercial heritage. It is filled with memories of the Arab ancestors who had once traveled from far-off places on their carts, bringing their goods. Thus, they created a market, and it grew to be the biggest commercial market in Qatar.

Despite the 2004 renovation of the market, which includes more than 1,200 stores, the historic character remained dominant on its territory.
