REPORT: Israel successfully tests “Arrow 3” missile defense system

After successfully testing the ‘Arrow 3’ missile defense interceptor which is designed to seek and destroy long-range missiles, Israel would have upgraded its defensive and offensive capabilities to become the first deterrent force in the region.          

The aforementioned system is, according to the Israelis, the first one of its kind in the world in terms of accuracy, technology and high-speed operation, adding that it has been developed in cooperation with the United States.          

The test carried out on Monday coincides with an escalation in Israels warnings and threats and with the confirmation of the IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz that his army is capable of confronting the most dangerous expected scenarios and growing threat.              

On the other hand, the Israeli ground force has been intensifying its military maneuvers, escalating its threats and showing off its capabilities by appointing a new commander, in a response to the threats launched by the Palestinian armed factions to detain Israeli citizens and soldiers.                

In this context, the Israeli army declared that due to its vigilance and trainings, it was able to thwart 18 kidnapping attempts over the past three months.            

Similarly, the Israeli Army Command warned against any kidnapping attempt, saying that it will spark chaos in the region.                    

Accordingly, the army had to intensify the preparations and maneuvers in order to maintain its control in cases of emergencies. In continuation to the promotion of its preparations, Israel installed the Iron Dome system in Gush Dan in the Tel Aviv area, within the framework of the activity carried out by the army to ensure the activation of the system across Israel in case of emergencies.
