REPORT: Israel increases level of readiness amid continuous Syrian crisis

Israel is increasing its alerts and readiness level of its army on various fronts especially at the borders with Syria in the region of Tal Fares which was fired upon from the Syrian border.

In this context, Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said that Israel would respond to any attacks on its territories whether from Syria or Gaza.

Minister Yaalon added that transporting weapons and rockets to Hezbollah is the greatest threat to the Israeli security and pointed out that Israel had previously shelled trucks carrying weapons from Syria to Hezbollah.

This report will examine the Israeli measures adopted at the Syrian borders in light of the ongoing Syrian crisis.
