Bahrain says 11 arrested for violent acts, vandalism

11 Bahrainis were arrested and will face charges for acts of violence and vandalism, Bahrain's Public Security Chief Major General Taraq al-Hassan announced on Tuesday.

"Arsonists fled the scene after setting fires in Hamad Town," al-Hassan added.

"A second group committed acts of sabotage in Ras Ruman using petrol bombs, iron bars and stones, and attacking security officers. They also smashed the windows of two private cars by throwing stones at them," he said.
