Saudi diplomat shot dead in Yemen - Al Arabiya TV

A Saudi diplomat was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Wednesday, Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television reported, citing diplomatic sources.

The station give no further details. Yemen has been grappling with a number of security problems including the local offshoot of al Qaeda.
