UK parliament researcher arrested over China spying

UK police have arrested a man in his twenties on charges of espionage, with reports from The Sunday Times suggesting that he was a researcher in the British Parliament suspected of working for China.

The police confirmed that officers from the London Metropolitan Police arrested two individuals on March 13th on suspicion of committing offenses under the Official Secrets Act 1911, Section 1.
