Ukraine Claims 26 Iranian-Made Drones Shot Down in Russian Attack

The Ukrainian army confirmed on Tuesday that Russia launched an attack on Ukraine during the night using 38 drones of the "Shahed" model, stating that 26 of these aircraft were successfully shot down.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported in its daily telegram update, "A total of 38 Shahed drones were launched," specifying that Ukrainian air defenses had managed to destroy 26 of these Iranian-made unmanned aircraft.
The Odessa region, including the port of Izmail, was among the targeted areas during the night.
Oleh Khyber, the regional governor, wrote on Telegram that the attack lasted for two hours, confirming the downing of "the majority of the drones.
