Macron affirms France's 'solidarity' with Israel, saying 'mourning unites us'

French President Emmanuel Macron affirmed 'solidarity' with Israel in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, emphasizing that both countries are united in mourning following the bloody attack carried out by Hamas on Israeli territory on October 7th. 

Macron wrote on the X platform: “Mourning unites us with Israel. Thirty of our citizens were killed on October 7th, and nine others remain missing or held hostage. In Tel Aviv, I expressed the nation's solidarity with their families.”
