Russia threatens to sever ties with the US if frozen assets are seized

The Interfax news agency reported that Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday that Moscow may cut diplomatic ties with the United States if Russian assets frozen due to the Ukrainian conflict are seized.

Ryabkov stated that the United States "should not delude itself... thinking that Russia clings to diplomatic relations with that country."
