European Council imposes sanctions on Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and bans travel to the EU for six individuals

The European Council announced on Friday a sanctions regime on the Palestinian movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad, concurrently adding six individuals to the sanctions list.

The sanctions will prohibit them from traveling to the European Union.
