Macron: Those responsible for Moscow attack attempt operations in France

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday that Russia had fallen victim to Islamist attacks, and the group behind the Moscow shooting also attempted several acts in France recently.

Macron told reporters while visiting French Guiana, ''This group also attempted several acts on our territory.''

The French government raised the terrorism alert level to its highest on Sunday following the shooting in Moscow.
