Zelenskyy says China's Xi told him he won't sell Russia weapons

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Thursday that China's Xi Jinping "gave me his word" he would not sell weapons to Russia, during a press conference with US President Joe Biden.

"I had a phone conversation with the leader of China by phone. He said that he would not sell any weapons to Russia. We will see," said Zelenskyy, who added: "He gave me his word."
