White House: "We are deeply concerned about Sudanese conflict and condemn those involved''

White House spokesperson John Kirby said on Thursday that the United States remains deeply concerned about the ongoing conflict in Sudan and unequivocally condemns those involved.

He added that more than 25 million people are facing unacceptable levels of food insecurity, and nearly the entire country is experiencing violence. He went on to say that the United States calls on the fighters to stop attacking innocent civilians and to allow humanitarian aid to reach those in need.
