WHO 'regrets' US decision to withdraw from organization

The World Health Organization said Tuesday it regretted the decision by the new U.S. administration of President Donald Trump to withdraw the country from the U.N. agency.

"The World Health Organization regrets the announcement that the United States of America intends to withdraw from the organization," WHO spokesman Tarik Jasarevic told reporters.
