US Senate Democratic Leader requests briefing on Iran-Israel situation

U.S. Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said on Wednesday that he has requested a classified briefing from President Donald Trump’s administration for all 100 senators on the situation between Israel and Iran, which has escalated into aerial attacks between the two countries in recent days.

“We’ve received briefings, and I’ve asked that we have a classified briefing for all senators,” Schumer said, adding that he believes the request will be granted.
