Mexico 'will not accept' US military action on its soil: Foreign ministry

Mexico said Friday that it "would not accept" the deployment of U.S. military forces on its soil to combat drug cartels.

"Mexico would not accept the participation of U.S. military forces on our territory," the foreign ministry said after the U.S. embassy in Mexico released a statement saying both countries would use "every tool at our disposal to protect our peoples" from drug trafficking groups.
