Russian embassy slams German cyberattack claims as 'absurd'

Russia's embassy in Berlin on Friday said it "categorically rejected" claims by the German government that Russian-backed hackers had targeted German air traffic control and this year's general election.

"The accusations of Russian state structures' involvement in these incidents and in the activities of hacker groups in general are baseless, unfounded, and absurd," the embassy said in a statement sent to AFP.
