Judge Madi receives FBI report on murder of Maj.Gen. Wissam Hassan

An FBI delegation visited General Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi and handed him the report it had drafted on the assassination of Major General Wissan Hassan to provide technical help to the Lebanese authorities and conduct necessary analysis. The 30 pages long report will be translated and submitted to the ISF’s concerned department and to the Judge in charge of the case.

In this regard, exclusive security sources told LBCI that the ISF’s Information Division will receive a copy of the FBI report on the assassination of Maj. Gen. Wissam Hassan in the next two days via the General Prosecutor.

Hassan was assassinated on October 19, 2012 when a massive car bomb explosion targeted his vehicle while passing through the Achrafieh neighborhood. 2 other people were killed in the blast.
