Sleiman, Mikati discuss preparations for dialogue session

President Michel Sleiman met Saturday with PM Najib Mikati with whom he discussed the current situation and latest developments in Lebanon.

Sleiman was also briefed by Mikati on his trip to Brazil as well as the meetings he held there in this context.

Preparations for the dialogue session, scheduled for next Monday, were also the focus of talks between both officials.

In this context, the president presided over a series of meetings that discussed several ideas and proposals to be tabled during the dialogue session.

Separately, Sleiman was briefed by the head of the Constitutional Council, Issam Sleiman, on the council’s activities.
