March 14 boycotts dialogue session, will next session be postponed?
Following the decision made March 14 to boycott dialogue sessions, President Michel Sleiman has two choices: either keep calling for Tuesday 24’s session or suspend it.

In this context, Environment Minister Nazim Khoury told LBCI that “until now the session has not yet been postponed”, hoping that it will not. “Lebanon is now in dire need of dialogue”, he added.

Not speaking on behalf of the President Michel Sleiman, al-Khoury explained that he thinks that calling for dialogue should not be linked to surrounding conditions.

Al-Khoury noted that withdrawing from the dialogue shall be the responsibility of Lebanese leaderships, pointing that these leaderships should not deal with the issues taking into consideration their own political interests.
