Hamas negotiators extend stay in Cairo for further ceasefire talks

A leader within the Hamas movement announced on Tuesday that negotiators representing the movement will prolong their presence in Cairo for a third consecutive day. 

The negotiations, which commenced earlier this week, have seen representatives from Hamas engage in talks with mediators in an attempt to broker an agreement that would halt the ongoing hostilities in the Gaza Strip.
