Berlin on recognizing a Palestinian state: No two-state solution without dialogue

A spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry emphasized Berlin's support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The spokesperson was responding to a journalist's question on Wednesday about the decision of European countries to recognize the State of Palestine.

In a regular press conference in Berlin, the spokesperson said, "An independent Palestinian state remains a steadfast goal of German foreign policy," adding that achieving this goal must be through dialogue.
