Israeli army claims targeting vehicle of suspect linked to October 7 attack

The Israeli army announced launching an airstrike earlier Saturday on a vehicle carrying an individual accused of participating in the October 7 attack.

According to the army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, the suspect had been under prolonged intelligence surveillance and was targeted based on "verified real-time intelligence regarding his location."

The military is also investigating claims that the individual held a position within the international organization World Central Kitchen (WCK).

Officials emphasized that the targeted vehicle was not a civilian aid transport and had not been cleared to operate on the designated route.
