Gaza civil defense says 23 killed in Israeli strikes

Gaza's civil defense agency on Thursday said that 23 people, including eight children, were killed in Israeli bombardments overnight on the Palestinian territory.

The children were among 12 people who died in an air strike in Deir el-Balah in central Gaza, agency official Mohammed al-Mughair told AFP.
