MP Aoun: Crimes are being committed against Syrian people

Change and reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said on Tuesday that he does not desire the protection of Western countries to the Christians of the Middle East, urging world powers to implement human rights in Arab countries.

MP Aoun's comments came following the weekly meeting of the Change and reform bloc in which he said that crimes are being committed against the Syrian people.

"The world must choose between Maaloula or the Al-Nusra Front," he added.

On another note, MP Aoun asserted that the caretaker government must convene to address the Lebanese people's daily needs.
