Hezbollah MP Raad: No cabinet without Hezbollah

The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Mohammad Raad declared Tuesday that the Israeli leaders will not be able to reassure their citizens “no matter what they do since the resistance possesses weapons that Israel can never have.”

During his participation in a 'Ashura council, Raad said that “this is the era of the Resistance,” stressing that no cabinet will be formed without Hezbollah.

“If a cabinet were formed without the consent of the Resistance, the country will remain divided and the cabinet will fail,” he stated, adding that no one can eliminate an essential political component.

The MP pointed out that Lebanon is currently identified via its opposition stance, noting that before the era of the Resistance, Lebanon was not recognized on the international political map since it did not serve an important role.

“But now, Lebanon has become the world’s main concern, because it has a Resistance that did not only terminate the 'Israeli project', but the international project that supported Israel in the 2006 war,” Raad continued.
