Geagea: USJ's events are unacceptable

Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea called Monday on the administration of Saint Joseph University (USJ) to investigate the incident that happened on campus, stating that the administration is turning a blind eye towards various incidents as such.

Geagea noted that a number of students affiliated to Hezbollah wanted to hang the party's flag across the university and were insulting religious figures and late President Bashir Gemayel.

In this context, Geagea called on caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel and caretaker Justice Minister Shakib Qortbawi to bear their responsibilities, pointing out that the incident at USJ was unacceptable.
