Change and Reform bloc MP Nicolas to LBCI: We refuse accusations targeting Minister Bassil

Change and Reform bloc MP Nabil Nicolas lashed out statements voiced by Future bloc MP Jamal al-Jarrah, stressing that the institutions along with the Central Inspection Bureau are fulfilling their duties.

"MP Jarrah has not the right to accuse caretaker Minister of Energy Gebran Bassil of embezzlement of public funds since he has no proof of it," MP Nicolas said in an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show on Tuesday.

"Bassil has installed power transformers in the Beirut southern suburbs, the North and other regions," he added.
