Sleiman urges judiciary to take necessary measures in case of farce pharmaceutical factory
President Michel Sleiman tackled on Monday the issue of the factory producing pharmaceutical products under “Biolog”, which was permanently shut down, noting that such a step comes within the framework of protecting citizens and fighting non-compliance with Lebanese laws.

In this context, he urged the judiciary to perform its duties, “especially that this matter directly affects citizens’ health.”

Accordingly, Sleiman called on all ministries and administrations to uncover violators and refer them to the concerned judiciary in order to take the necessary measures against them.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the factory producing pharmaceutical products under “Biolog” was permanently shut down pending that it meets the standards of manufacturing.
