ISF unit thwarts attempt to smuggle medicine in Arsal

Internal Security Forces unit raided on Sunday a house in the Bekaa border town of Arsal and seized a truck loaded of smuggled medicine.

The unit also arrested the truck driver who was identified as Syrian national Omar Ahmad al-Rifaei, saying he hails from the Qalamoun region town of Ras al-Maara.

The seized medications were transferred to Arsal police station, while an investigation was launched in this regard.
