Lebanese army arrests man for transporting bullets in Akkar

The Lebanese army said on Saturday that it arrested a man in the northern district of Akkar after finding thousands of bullets in his vehicle.

The army added that an army unit seized around 6,600 bullets for light weapons from the Toyota van that belongs to Rabih Abdel Karim Younes in the town of Hnaider in Akkar.

Younes and the seized bullets were referred to the concerned authorities to act accordingly.
