Rifi: Boycotting constitutional processes is unacceptable
Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi hoped Saturday that the presidential elections will be held on time, holding the parliamentary blocs responsible for any potential delay.

In remarks he voiced after visiting patients at Nini hospital in Tripoli, Rifi noted that the regional and international efforts are being deployed in order to urge the Lebanese factions to hold the presidential elections according to constitutional deadlines, pointing out that boycotting constitutional processes is not acceptable.

“The deputies were elected by the people in order to participate in building a future for the next generations, thus they have to attend the parliamentary sessions and carry out their duties to the fullest,” he added.
