Judge Sawwan issues arrest warrants against 3 Palestinian nationals

Military Investigative Judge Fady Sawwan issued on Friday arrests warrants against 3 Palestinian nationals on charges of belonging to a terrorist organization, the al-Nusra Front, and plotting to carry out terrorist attacks.

Jabhat al-Nusra is a branch of Al-Qaeda operating in both Syria and Lebanon.

The group has been labeled a terrorist organization by the United Nations, the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. It has made repeated calls on members of the LAF to defect from what it dubbed "the army of infidels" and join their revolution to "protect the Sunnis of Lebanon."
