Huge fire erupts in Akkar town of Hawchab

A huge fire broke out on Friday in the northern town of Hawchab in Akkar leaving swathes of forest land in the said area in cinders.

Civil Defense units rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire.

Rise in temperatures bring fears over what is left of the country's forests.

Forest fires have become an expected threat that come with the summer.
