Nahas to LBCI: Public finances are not in danger
Premier Najib Mikati is expected to submit a new spending apparatus to cabinet next Wednesday, based on the public accountability law.

In those regards, Minister of Economy Nicolas Nahas stated that 2011’s cabinet spending of advanced treasury bonds were supposed to be covered by a special law, pointing that this approach which was adopted with an 8.9 trillion LBP is still valid in 2012 with an advanced treasury bond worth 4.9 trillion LBP.

Nahas told LBCI that public finances are not in danger, calling for the separation of politics and state affairs to further accelerate the pace.
