Introduction to the evening news 15-06-2012

Egypt, between tomorrow and after tomorrow, will discover whether a fifth military, Ahmad Chafik, will be its President, after Mohammad Najib, Abed al-Naser, al-Sadat and Mubarak, or the Muslim Brotherhood will rule for the first time since the revolution.

In Syria, after every American or European position against the regime, Moscow reveals a supporting card. The most recent card would be the statement of the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that Russia will not discuss post-Assad era with the Western states.

In Lebanon, the governmental activity will be put on hold with PM Najib Mikati’s travel to Brazil, as the last week of June will be loaded with new developments, with the second dialogue session and cabinet session on its agenda.
